Description Designed and handmade in Lanzarote The sea urchin is one of the most prominent sea creatures in our collection. We are fascinated by its natural symmetry. On its shell it exhibits amazing patterns that we reproduce in our pieces. This “Sea Urchin Necklace”, in its large format, is the mother of the many other versions available at famaraspirit. Due to its dimensions it is the most striking and eye-catching of them all. This item symbolises not only the beauty of the natural species on our coasts, but also the need to preserve our ecosystems. Sea urchins are indicators of heavy metal pollution and it is our responsibility to protect them and ensure their survival. Nothing in nature exists by itself. Our jewellery is a reminder of the need to take care of the environment. This piece has been designed and produced by hand in our workshop in Famara in an environmentally friendly process and with certified materials of the highest quality. Just like the millenary sea urchins, our pieces have been designed to last over time. The pendant is delivered on a smooth, semi-rigid, highly polished chain.
